Your Credit Union, Anywhere

Access your accounts at over 5,000 credit union locations nationwide. Whether you are a Wheatland member traveling across the country or a guest member visiting us from another credit union, the CO-OP Shared Branching network keeps you connected to your money.

What Is Shared Branching?

Shared Branching is a national network of credit unions that “share” their facilities. This means you have the freedom to bank at thousands of locations, whether you’re on vacation, away at school, or just across town.

What Can You Do at a Shared Branch?

While most daily transactions are seamless, some services must still be handled by your home credit union.

  • Deposits & Withdrawals*
  • Transfers between accounts
  • Loan payments
  • Balance inquiries
What You Cannot Do at a Shared Branch
  • Open or close an account
  • Loan applications
  • Add someone to your account
  • Order checks

*Individual credit unions may establish cash or check withdrawal limits. Please confirm limits with your home credit union.

Wheatland institutes a $7,500 cash withdrawal limit at our Centerville Branch, and a $500 cash withdrawal limit at our Elizabethtown branch. We can issue corporate checks up to an amount approved by your home credit union.

What to Bring with You

To ensure an efficient and secure experience, please have the following for every shared branching visit:

  • Valid government issued ID, like a driver’s license or passport
  • Your home credit union’s name
  • Your member number
  • A smart device to complete the ID Check verification process
